Deciding a blog topic is not a big deal. If you are running a business, company or part of a organization. You can choose the topic related to your company or business. Like if you are running a web development company you can write on web development or you have travel company you can write on travel etc..
\nYou should write a blog about which have lots of rooms for discussion. Because blog need lots of contents.<\/p>\n

Blogging Platform<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is many platforms for start a blog or website. One of the most popular blogging platform is WordPress. I am also using WordPress for blogging. There is two options.<\/p>\n

Hosted WordPress blogs are often referred to as \u201cWordPress.com<\/a> blogs.
\nSelf-hosted WordPress blogs are often referred to as \u201cWordPress.org<\/a> blogs.<\/p>\n

Hosted WordPress blog means when you use free platform for creating blog.Its true its free but it will provide you very limited functionality or access and the address will be your blog like name.wordpress.org etc.<\/p>\n

Here is the few limitations of using free hosted blog.As your blog is hosted on free platform. So if you violate their terms or conditions they can shut down your blog any time.You can’t do all customizations on your blog like plugin customization, custom design etc.<\/p>\n

I will suggest to use self hosted wordpress platform. It gives you more control or flexibility on site. Self hosted platform you need domain name, host etc and you will manage your site yourself. But it will be less expensive.<\/p>\n

Main benefit of using it you can do unlimited customization through plugins, themes, coding etc.Community support are available even hosting company will also provide you support whenever you needed.You have fully control on your website which hosted wordpress blogs don’t provide.<\/p>\n

Choose domain name<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first things is to choose a domain name.You can take any extension like .com, .org, .net etc..<\/p>\n

Hosting<\/strong><\/p>\n

I will recommend to use bluehost(https:\/\/www.bluehost.com\/<\/a><\/a>) or bigrock<\/a> for getting hosting. They are less expensive and have very good support. Here is the step by step instructions for setup blog on bluehost.<\/p>\n

WordPress Installation on Server<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can manually upload wordpress on your site. For it you first download wordpress from https:\/\/wordpress.org.<\/a> Hosting company also offers a tool like Fantastico, you can upload WordPress directly from your hosting account with a few simple clicks and connect it to the domain name with a few more clicks.Here is the complete process for setup blog hosting company tool.<\/p>\n
